In Malta at the first of December to hunt pheasants. Quiet. Very good value. My dogs had a great space to walk. Away from the hustle and noise of downtown. Good restaurant next door. Cheerful staff.
We never actually saw a staff member in person, but they arranged things in advance via phone and our stay was smooth. They had plenty of room for us to park a U-Haul with trailer and the memory foam mattress was magical. Temperature in the room was perfect, too, and it was a lovely, quiet night just out of town. Highly recommend.
The place is very neat and clean. I was disappointed I did not have a coffee pot in our room. I was not informed of a credit card fee when I reserved our room for $115.00, I was aware of the room tax. This was our second time staying at the Country Inn and it is very nice and quiet. Thank you
Malta is a very small town with a few places to stay. We knew we would only be here one night, so we pick a simple place; on the older, outdated side. Most important, it was clean and the room was was big enough with a comfortable bed. The mosquitoes were vicious outside from the swampiness next to the golf course but that isn't their fault. It served our needs to stay there.
A nice oasis on a really hot day! Great view of the neighboring golf course. Nice simple breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Shower was hot and the hosts were very welcoming.
What a sweet place! And the owner, Kari is a great hostess. I apologize profusely for taking so much of her time chatting, but she is delightful to visit with.
This place is a true hidden gem. The rooms are nice size and clean. We had a love seat with electric recliners in our room, which was comfy. They have hot breakfast from 6-8am that is made to order. The owner was very nice.
Omg if thus isn't a hidden gem. (Gem stones sometimes have to be polished) anyone who doesn't have some country yard leaves or a few dandelions is lying. The apartment upstairs with private entrance; immaculate! Bathrooms well stocked. Plenty of blankets pillows. Clean dishes, filtered water at the sink. Giant televisions master with en suite. Second room sleeping 3 plus a very comfortable living room. Well decorated (modestly) and the view over the pond with water fountain. Could not hear any highway traffic! Deadbolt Security on the upstairs apartment with its own deck. Kitchen stocked with what you need to cook for a family. Byofood... and oddly not a hint of curry in the air. High-speed internet plenty for streaming! Will stay again! Traveling for work, best place I've stayed in 3 weeks every night in a different bed. Oh I forgot to mention. Comfortable, clean! No fear of the creatures of the night! Please do yourself and family a favor... just stay here.
